| Abstract: | in this paper, by means of transfer matrix method, the calculation formulas of critical seismic excitation and critical responses of the soil-structure interaction system are derived. A computer program is made and a 80 m high reinforced concrete chimney is used. as a numerical example. Numerical analysis includes not only the comparison between super structure with rigid base and that with flexible base, but also the quantitative evaluation for the feasibility of the random critical seismic analysis method, combined with the analysis of stationary filtered white noise ground acceleration random process. |
