英语广告修辞十格浅析

摘    要:在广告文本制作中往往会使用一些修辞手法来引起读者的注意,刺激其购买欲望,最终促成购买行为。本文探讨了英语广告中的十种主要修辞格,以有助于中国读者对英语广告的理解和欣赏。

Abstract:Advertising is the impersonal communication of information usually paid for and usually persuasive in nature about products,service or ideas by identified sponsors through the various media.Advertising must be vivid and expressive so that it can attract readers' attention immediately and trigger his desire to make a purchase.Therefore,advertising writers tend to employ some figures of speech to attain this aim.This paper deals with ten main kinds of figures of speech in order to help Chinese readers to understand and appreciate English advertisements.
