| Abstract: | low-rise steel-frame structure residence rarely apples to 8 and over 8 magniture earthquake areas, because its overall stiffness is small, anti-sidesway ability is poor, level displacement angle is excessive under the action of level earthquake. According to the analysis of anti-seismic performance, the use of structural analysis software and examples, the article approves the feasibility of low-rise steel-frame structure residence in 8 magnitude（0.2g） earthquake areas. |
