| Abstract: | In order to integrate file systems and database systems, a multidatabase transaction model is proposed. The design and implement of global transaction manager, committing protocol and local agent, which are components of the model, are discussed. A method based on SQL statements for implementing the compensated transactions is addressed during the design of committing protocol. An algorithm is given, and proves effective for implementing local agent when component systems are file systems. |
