| 摘 要： | 本文从文体、修辞角度,借助实例分析了英文体育报刊的词汇、句法、辞格等语言特点。英文体育报道不仅能传递信息,还能愉悦读者,使用的语言必须具体、准确,具有美感。在写作风格上既有新闻英语文体的典型特点,又有其独到之处。

| Abstract: | Based on first-hand examples,this paper describes the linguistic features of sports coverage in English news publications in a stylistic and rhetoric way.The language used in sports coverage,whose functions are to inform and entertain readers,is supposed to be specific,accurate and esthetic.Though sharing the common features of journalistic English in terms of writing style,sports coverage stands out for its own uniqueness. |
