| Abstract: | This paper deals with the selection of the target language words and expressions in English for science and technology. The author argues that in addition to the selection of the lexical meaning of source language words, the selection of TL words and expressions is directly affected by the SL grammar structure, the specialized content and the TL idiomatic ways of expressing as well as the logical relation. |
