Abstract: | The structure of aqueous electrolyte solution has been widely studied by means of X-ray and neutron diffraction, from which the information of ion-ion, ion-water, and water-water interactions can be revealed. Almost all of the studies are limited to aqueous solutions of monoatomic ions though they have involved some investigations under extreme conditions, such as the supercooled and the supercritical. |
