| Abstract: | This paper provided a new expcession method for symmetry of molecular orbitals.It can be used to illustrate Woodward Hoffmann rules and to explain mechanism of pegicyclic reaction.We thought that the cxpression methodp lay a good role in teaching course of pericyclic reaction.Several examples of application to pericyclic reaction,such as electrocyclic reaction,cyclic addition reaction and sigmatropic reaction,was cited and detailed explanation was given. |
