| Abstract: | This paper reveals some common and deep rooted mistakes in the comprehension of several English grammatical structures in translation and attempts to solve these problems and clears up the misconception of these structures through authentic examples and theoretical analysis. It also stresses the importance of a good knowledge of English grammar in correct and accurate understanding of the original English text. |
