| 摘 要： | 英国浪漫主义诗人柯乐律治的代表诗歌《古水手》是一首叙事诗歌,以古水手在海上杀死一只信天翁,犯下罪恶开始,接着探索了古水手内心因这一罪恶而承受的巨大痛苦,在漫长的痛苦中,借助于内心爱的苏醒和对宗教的依傍,古水手最终获得生命和心灵的解脱。整首诗歌体现了诗人对人类内心世界的探索,反映了其主张的人生重要主题:痛苦中的心灵救赎。

| Abstract: | The theme of spiritual growth from suffering is well exemplified in Coleridge's representative poem, The Ancient Mariner, a narrative poem about the Mariner's sin in sea and his spiritual growth in getting new perception of love and religion from the suffering of loneliness and fear. The article would discuss the growth of man's consciousness in The Ancient mariner. |
