摘    要:通过建立语音、视频和数据业务的仿真模型评估了IEEE802.11e中竞争接入方式EDCF的工作性能,并把它与传统的802.11中的DCF方式进行了比较,讨论了改变竞争窗(CW)和仲裁间隔时间(AIFS)对系统总吞吐量和区分服务的影响,还考虑了竞争空闲脉冲(CFB),发现它在负载较高的情况下能够提供较好的区分服务,但在不同的应用和配置下对系统性能的影响具有很大的跳跃性和不稳定性。

Abstract:The performance of enhanced distributed coordination function (EDCF) was evaluated, compared with the 802.11 legacy MAC in supporting voice, video and data applications through the network simulation of a scenario of 802.11e. The effects of Contention Window (CW) and Arbitration Inter-Frame Space (AIFS) on the service differentiation and total throughput were discussed. The contention-free burst (CFB) was also considered. It was concluded from the simulation that the EDCF with TXOP could provide better-differentiated channel access to different traffic types especially in high traffic load conditions. The movements caused by the parameters in CFB showed a lot of bouncing and instability in different applications and configurations.
