本文阐述了高校二级单位——院（系）办公室管理工作的特殊性和重要性：分析了当前社会发展、科技进步以及高等教育体制自身改革对高校院（系）办公室管理工作带来的机遇和挑战，最后笔者结合当前我国高校院（系）办公室管理改革的总体要求即——科学化、智能化、信息化、自动化、网络化发展趋势，提出了改进和完善高校院（系）办公室管理工作的具体对策。

On Challenges and Strategies For Department Office Administration in Universities

With implementation of the opening-up policy and reformation of the higher educational system, the department office administration is confronting with great challenges. The paper expounds the characteristics and importance of the department office administration in universities. It also clarifies its opportunity and challenges that are brought along by development of society, progressing of science and technology and reformation of higher educational system. Combined with the general requirements tor our department office administration in universities, the author proposes the strategies to improve and perfect the department office administration in universities.
