| Abstract: | It is convenient to arrange a fractional-slot winding and calculate its no-load EMF's by conventional methods. However, the calculations of its loaded armature MMF's and EMF's remain still complicated. In this paper, a fractional-slot winding is transformed into an integral-slot winding by means of transformation of the numbers of poles of the machine, thus any calculation can be performed according to the transformed integral-slot winding, which is much simpler than that according to the original fractional-slot winding. |
