摘    要:随机稀布MIMO雷达由于空间阵元的缺失,对回波信号的空间采样严重不足,其合成的发射-接收波束中存在大量高电平旁瓣,影响目标峰值的检测以及掩盖微弱目标。利用随机稀布MIMO雷达所合成的发射-接收波束图中最大幅度所对应的方位角,重构当该方位角上存在目标时的波束旁瓣值;然后在原始归一化发射-接收波束图中对消该重构旁瓣值。如果存在真实目标,可形成低峰值旁瓣的发射-接收波束方向图;反之,最终波束图的峰值主旁瓣比与原始波束图相差不大,表明无目标存在。在发射和接收阵元数较少以及发射信号总带宽较低时能有效抑制随机稀布MIMO雷达的波束旁瓣,仿真结果验证了方法的有效性。

Abstract:Due to the loss of array elements causing the serious shortage of return signal spatial sampling in MIMO radar with random sparse array, there is a lot of high sidelobe in the synthesized transmit-receive beam, which affects the detection of the target peak and masks the weak targets. In this paper, the angle that is correspond to the maximum amplitude of the synthesized transmit-receive beam is exploited for sidelobe reconstruction. When there is a target in the radar observation area, the final synthesized transmit-receive beam with low peak sidelobe can be obtained by subtraction of the original synthesized transmit-receive beam and the reconstructed sidelobe. Otherwise, the main-to-sidelobe ratio of the final synthesized transmit-receive beam is similar to the original synthesized beam, which shows that there is no target. The proposed method can effectively suppress sidelobe of synthesized transmit-receive beam in random sparse MIMO radar with a little of transmit and receive antennas and low total bandwidth of the transmitted signal. The simulation results demonstrate its effectiveness and robustness.
