民间科学爱好者的基本界定及其成因分析

“民间科学爱好者”是一个在科学共同体之外从事所谓科学活动的特殊群体,与“业余科学爱好者”相比。其最大特征是不能与科学共同体进行正常的交流。大规模民间科学爱好者的存在是某种社会问题的反映,它与1980年前后的社会氛围有关,与大众语境和大众传媒对科学活动的误读有关,也与其自身偏执的心理倾向有关。对此问题的研究,既有利于解决具体的社会问题,又可以为科学传播提供借鉴。

Science Fans:A Basic Description and an Analysis of Their Emergence

Science fans"is a special group devoted to the so called scientific activities outside of the science community.They are different from amateur scientists(or science amateur)in the way that they do not have proper channel for communication with the science community.How and why science fans developed out of sudden in the early 1980's, in China, thanks for the social envirenment, public perception of science at that time,the misunderstanding of scientific activities by mass media,and the paranoid tendency of the science fans themselves. The reseevrch upon science fans can address the problem they have caused and at same time, provide some advice on the development of science communication.
