中国生物多样性元数据库的研究与开发

摘    要:元数据是关于数据的内容,质量,条件和其它特性的数据,它是为数据的管理,查询和使用服务的,目前我国还缺乏生物多样性信息交流,共享的机制,因此有必要建立一个提供元数据的信息查查询渠道,使用户知道从哪 儿能找到所需要的信息,如何使用数据。中国生物样性元数据库就是这样的一个系统。本文进行了该的系统分析,系统设计,并以FoxProforWindows开发平台进行程序设计,生物多样性元数据库具有强的信息查询功

Abstract:Metadata is referred to information regarding the location, source, content, or other specifies in relation to actual data, which provides services for the management, query and use of actual data. At present, there is no mechanism for biodiversity information exchange and sharing in China. It is therefore necessary to set up an information query channel with metadata to help people know where to find required information and how to use them. China Biodiversity Metadatabase is such a database. System analysis and system design were carried out for the system. The system was implemented on the platform of FoxPro 2.5b for Windows. China Biodiversity Metadatabase possesses powerful information query functions, such as query by institute catalogue, query by thematic information category, query by name, and query by author. The system is rich in information, with data of 133 institutions, 160 datasets, 266 databases, 757 books and 61 maps, providing over 1 300 data sheets.
