摘    要:简要回顾了层序地层学的发展历史 ,将层序地层学划分为初期阶段、地震地层学和现代层序地层学三个阶段。总结了层序地层学的主要成就和存在的问题。扼要介绍了高分辨率层序地层学的理论基础和关键定义 ,并展望了其发展前景

Abstract:Sequence stratigraphy has gone through three developmental stages: early stage, seismic stratigraphy and modern sequence stratigraphy. It has gained many achievements and been widely used in oil and gas exploration and exploitation. Nevertheless, the classical sequence stratigraphy faces some problems and challenges. It has developed in several directions in recent years, with the high resolution sequence stratigraphy being the most important one. The key terms of the high resolution sequence stratigraphy include base level cycle, accommodation, sediment volume partitioning, cycle symmetries, facies diversity, sequence structure and stacking pattern. The high resolution sequence stratigraphy has developed quickly since its birth and will have a bright future.
