狼与古代草原民族的渊源探析

有关回纥、突厥、乌孙、蒙古族等草原民族以狼为同一母题的族源传说文献记载颇丰。比较研究可发现其狼祖族源传说具有趋同性和嫁接性两大特征。其作为草原民族的精神信仰与草原民族的民族性格、生存理念及风俗习惯等存在着内在联系。梳理廓清其联系亦能进一步认识古代草原民族的民族血缘关系、民族融合进程、民族文化认同等相关历史信息。

Exploration of Relations between Wolf and Grassland Ethnic Minorities

There has been an abundant documents about legend that wolf is the origin clan of some grassland ethnic minorities such as the HuiGe, the Turks, the Wusun, the Mongolian. A comparative study of these legends shows two features： convergence and grafting of the legend. And it is found that the spiritual faith of grassland ethnic minorities has an internal relation with their personality, survival ideology and traditions and customs. So a further study of the relations between the wolf and the origins of the grassland ethnic minorities will be sure to help make clear some related historical information such as national blood relations, national amalgamation process and nation- al cultural identity as well.
