In bid invitation for capital construction projects, it is of great significance to establish logic bid evaluation items for the technical part of the bid submission, and determine scientific weighting of each individual item to achieve rational and scientific bid evaluation result. Based on the experience acquired from actual operation and taking the bid invitation for elevator procurement as example, the paper briefs the establishment of bid evaluation items and the major techniques in calculating the weight of these items, so as to share the authors' ideas with the other construction engineering professionals.
