On in situ Measurement of Surface Roughness of the Steel Roller with Light Scattering |

| Abstract: | The principle and structural design of an instrument for surface roughness measurement with optic fiber and based on light scattering theory are described. The measuring range and accuracy of the new instrument developed are both significantly improved. It has been applied to the measurement of the surface roughness of steel rollers in situ. |
