Process energy integration and cleaner production

To remain competitiveness in the international market, the energy system ofprocesses must be improved in process industries in accordance with sustainable development.During the last 10 years much attention has been paid to total process energy integration forimproving energy utilization and environment protection, which is a crucial topic because of itslarge scale and complexity. The significance, as well as its arts-of-state, was described firstly.And then the progress on theoretical studies and practical applications in our institute weresummarized. Finally, some views on cleaner production under the instruction of sustainabledevelopment were presented for further discussion.
