大学生语音习得错误调查及优选论分析——探考“以师生课堂互动的英语教学模式”课题

本文通过对非英语专业大学生的语音抽样调查发现,插音现象是中国大学生英语语音习得中的常见错误,其发生的频率较高,而且错误一旦形成,很难纠正,容易在中介语中凝固沉淀下来,形成语音僵化现象。传统的英汉对比研究对此现象能够精确描述,却无法从理论上给出解释。本文在优选论的理论框架内对于这种现象给予了合理解释。

A survey of epenthesis in English acquisition of Non-English major students and an OT account

A survey conducted among 100 Non-English major students shows that epenthesis in syllable structure is a common phenomenon in their acquisition process of English pronunciation. The mistakes not only occur frequently but also are difficult to erase. What is more, they are liable to be retained and fossilized in the students' interlanguage. Traditional contrastive studies' took notice of this error but failed to render a satisfactory account based on linguistic theory. So this paper will give a theoretic account of the phenomenon under the framework of Optimality Theory.
