摘    要:为有效解决时分波分复用无源光网络(time and wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network,TWDM-PON)中因采用节能算法而导致的业务时延恶化问题,提出一种考虑业务QoS的光线路终端(optical line terminal,OLT)节能算法.通过建立针对局端设备光线路终端的新型能耗模型,使发射机和接收机能够独立地关闭或开启,从而在上下行业务不对称的情况下能够最大化地降低光线路终端能耗;通过区分业务、调整轮询周期的大小以及工作收发机的数目,保证不同业务QoS的要求.仿真表明,算法在保证业务QoS的前提下,最大化地降低了TWDM-PON中OLT的能耗.

Abstract:To solve effectively the degradation of service delay caused by energy saving algorithms in time and wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network(TWDM-PON), an energy saving algorithm for optical line terminal(OLT) considering QoS is proposed. Through establishing a new energy consumption model for the OLT, the aim of shutting down receivers and transmitters independently is achieved. Thus the energy consumption of the OLT can be minimized under asymmetric service environment. Simultaneously, the QoS is guaranteed by distinguishing various services, adjusting the size of polling cycles and changing the number of transceivers. Simulation results verify that the proposed algorithm can maximally reduce the energy consumption of the OLT in TWDM-PON on the premise of guaranteeing the QoS.
