摘 要: | 重新考察地层堆积过程的随机模式——Y分布的事件沉积学原理,结合地层观测尺度的逐步提高,首次赋予Y分布中统计参数k以沉积学意义,使事件沉积学向定量化方向发展。在将其应用于长江口区现代及晚第四纪、浙江桐庐志留纪文昌组潮滩地层剖面的堆积过程研究时,发现其cm级沉积层序受不连续的风暴潮事件控制,且风暴潮沉积物占剖面总厚度的60%以上,反映了中纬度中国东部潮滩沉积特点。

DISTRIBUTION ANALYSIS OF BED THICKNESS AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE ACCUMULATION PROCESS OF TIDALFLAT STRATA |

Abstract: | Event sedimentological implication is given again to the 7 distribution and it's parameter k of the bed thickness in the strata section. They are applied to the research on accumulation processes of modern and Silurian tidalflat strata in the Changjiang Estuary and Tonglu county , Zhejiang Province. Typhoon storm events are discovered controlling the formation of bed sequences with cm-grade thickness on the section. And storm sediments occupy more than 60% of the total sediments in the strata, being the characteristics of tidalflat strata at middle latitude in the east China. |
