| Abstract: | Some main points about thedevelopment of a practical system of tidal analysis and prediction are given in detail inthis paper,including the main design of the system,automatical tide selection andoptimization,the theory of analysis and predication,detailed design of the system,thetools of system development,and special features of the system.The performance of thesystem indicates that it is fast,accurate,reliable,efficient and convenient,especiallywhen it is used in predicating tide in coastal areas of China. The development of thesystem is of special practical significance for converting important theoretical resultsinto practical use. |
