摘    要:利用空间可扩展编码中的层间预测技术,提出了一种基于层间预测的空间可扩展帧内编码算法.对于空间基本层上的图像宏块,采用与H.264/AVC标准兼容的帧内编码方法进行编码.对于空间增强层上的图像宏块,除了本层中的邻块数据之外,进一步利用基本层上的对应宏块数据对其进行帧内预测编码.特别是在无法获取本层邻块数据的情况下,使用基本层上的对应宏块数据作为扩展数据源来预测编码,以提高编码效率.实验结果表明,与传统的单层帧内预测算法相比,本算法提高了增强层编码的信噪比,同时编码码率和计算复杂度基本不变.

Abstract:The concept of inter layer prediction in spatially scalable video coding is introduced and utilized,and then an efficient scalable intra coding scheme based on the inter layer prediction is proposed.In the proposed scheme,an intra coding method that is compatible to the H.264/AVC video coding standard is used for coding the base layer macroblocks in the intra mode.While for the enhancement layer macroblocks,besides the adjacent block data,the corresponding block data in the base layer is further used for coding them.Especially,when the adjacent block data in current layer is unreachable,in order to improve the coding efficiency of the enhancement layer,the base layer block data is used as the external source for predicting.Experiment results of the new scheme show that,by comparing with the old single layer intra coding method,the PSNR performance of the enhancement layer is increased,with almost no changes on the encoded bit-rate and the computation complexity.
