Prof. Chen Yiyu Met with the Director General for Research from the French Ministry of Research

On July 20, 2005, Prof. Chen Yiyu, President of NSFC, met with the delegation from the French Min- istry of Research, headed by its Director General for Research, Ms. Elisabeth Giacobino. Prof. Chen first extended welcome to the guests and showed his interests to the recent reform of research institutions and science funding system in France as well as the newly established National Innovation Agency (ANR).
