Analysis on Cultural Barriers in English Reading Comprehension and Their Elimination

There are many aspects to the barriers of English reading comprehension.Language,however,as a cultural carrier,contains rich cultural information.Cross-cultural differences may lead to more misunderstandings and communicative barriers.This paper analyzes language-related cultural barriers,and then discusses the methods to the solution of these barriers,aimed at improving learners' cross-culture awareness so as to enhance their reading accuracy.
