| Abstract: | Letters are one of the channels of communication in the long history of human beings.Among which personal letters,featured by informal language,various forms of expression and different styles,possess the highest aesthetical value.This paper attempts to analyse and to generalize the forms and contents of personal letters from the angle of rhetoric,and comes to the conclusion that personal letters are characterised by explicitness,informality and expressiveness. |
