An Exploration of Town Building in Three Gorges Reservoir Area

This paper analyses the problems existing in town building in the Three Gorges Reservoir area and puts forward the opinion about how to make best of the potential opportunities in the migrating movement to promote the building of towns,which will also accomplish the great task of migration.The paper also explores specific measures,such as encouraging more people to participate,unifying the understanding about the task,making a good arrangement,and raising development funds etc.,so as to develop the townships in the Three Gorges Reservoir area into bigger ones with respective characteristics and to contribute to the development of local economy.
