Origin and Development of Ice-Cuqiu in National Ice and Snow Sports

By sorting out the development history of ice-cuqiu, and analyzing the cultural value and competition modes, this paper presents some strategies for the future development of ice-cuqiu. It is suggested that the sport should be optimized and innovated. Optimization should give priority to digging into culture vulue and technologization and professional teams be built. As for innovation, such sport should be popularized in parks, school campus and ways to organize such sport be innovated. The study aims to enable related authorities to fully realize the permanence and difficulty in the development of national sports and help snow and ice sports appear in the Olympic Games.
