摘 要: | 词汇习得是大学英语学习中的重点和难点。概念隐喻理论认为隐喻普遍存在于人类的语言中,是人类不可缺少的认知工具。该理论从认知语言学角度为大学英语词汇习得提供了新的方法。将该理论引入词汇习得,有助于学习者对词汇的记忆及拓展词汇内涵,提高词汇习得的效率和质量。

Abstract: | [Abstract]Vocabulary acquisition is an important and difficult aspect in College English learning. In Conceptual Metaphor Theory, metaphor prevails in human language and it is also an indispensable cognitive tool for humans. This theory provides a new method for College English vocabulary acquisition from the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics. If it is applied to vocabulary acquisition, this theory will help learners to memorize words and develop their connotations, thus improve efficiency and quality of vocabulary acquisition. |
