贫金属星钡和铕丰度的相关性

摘    要:根据目前已测得的贫金属星中重元素钡和铕的观测丰度,利用通常的最小二乘法确定了[Eu/H]和[Ba/H]之间的线性相关关系,并利用F-检验法和相关系数r检验法对回归效果作了显著性检验.结果表明,贫金属星中[Eu/H]和[Ba/H]之间确存在着显著的线性相关关系,在星系形成早期的极贫金属情况下,重元素钡和铕可能都是由r-过程产生的.

Abstract:Based on the observed abundances of barium and europium in metal poor stars,we determined the correlation between the barium and europium abundances with the method of ordinary least squares.The confident level of the regressive function of[Eu/H]on[Ba/H]was tested by the F test and the r test.The result reveals the existence of a tight linear correlation between the barium and europium abundances,which means that both of barium and europium may be produced by the r process in the extremely metal poor stars at the early stage of the Galaxy.
