| Abstract: | Zheng Zhenduo made some eontributions to the studies of the history of Chinese literary eritieism. His collection of books provides new data for the research. His researehes on novels, critical theories of plays broadened the research scope of the history of Chinese literary criticism. He eneouraged comparative studies of Chinese and western literary theories and his practiee inspired new research approaches. |
