| Abstract: | This paper reported breeding ecology of Red-rumped Swallow (Hirundo daurica japonica) in Zipeng Mountains from March to July of 1996. The birds nested under the eaves board of resident quarters in April. Average clutch size was 5.5 eggs.Incubation period lasted about 18 days.Parental care period lasted 28 days.Both incubation rate of eggs and nestling surival rate were 100%. Logistic equation of the growth curve of body mass was W=20.8/[1+e-0.394(t-6.1)] |
