摘    要:研究了颗粒增强铝基复合材料的室温拉伸性能与断裂机理。结果表明,由于为形的区域化及残余应力的存在,使应用传统诉测量均匀材料强度的方法来测量颗粒增强金属基复全材料(PRMMCs)强度会产生一定的误差,断口分析显示,PRMMCs的断裂也属于MNG断裂模式。

Abstract:Examined are the tensile and fracture properties of aluminum alloy matrix composites reinforced by SiC particles at room temperature. Test results show that particles reinforced metal matrix composites (PRMMCs) exhibit a progressive transition from local plastic flow to bulk flow. Thermal residual stresses were induced by the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion. Deviations are found for the conventional 0.2% (proof) yield stress for the PRMMCs. Fractography shows that fracture evolution entails a process of microvoid nucleation, growth and coalescence for the PRMMCs.
