| Abstract: | To strengthen multiarch bridges with system transfer method is in essence to add an unloading member system to the original structure so as to move the internal force from the parts with insufficient strength to the parts which have a surplus of strength, thus increasing the supporting ability of the original structure. Through theoretical analysis and experimental research, system transfer method has been proved reliable and practicable in strengthening multiarch bridges. |
