| Abstract: | A twodimensional transient heattransfer mathematical model of billet mold was established and the application of FEM to the temperature field of billet mold was analyzed in this paper,such as discretization of the connected region,selection of the temperature interpolation function,calculation of variation calculus of finite element and the program flew chart.Reasoness of the establishment of the FEM model,treatment of boundary conditions and solution process was proved by comparing it with the measured value in practical situation. |
