| Abstract: | In this paper, the authors discuss the fundamental concept and viewpoint of the know-ledge-based design support system. Two problem solving models, decomposition and case-based reasoning, applied to design support system are presented. An example, the representation of design knowledge and basic system architecture applied to a radar system, is given. |
