色散介质中脉冲传播的矩阵方法

摘    要:通过变量代换,将描述光脉冲在二阶色散介质中传播的时间效应方程,化为与描述光波在一个横方向衍射效应的近轴波方程同样的形式后,借助于描述近轴光学行为的矩阵方法,对啁啾光脉冲在色介质中传播的时间行为进行了研究,并对引入的“时间光线”和“时间透镜”等概念进行了物理阐释。

Abstract:It has been proved that the equation discribing the temporal behavior of pulses propagating in second order dispersive media is identical to that governing the diffraction of light in one transverse direction. As a result,the matrix method widely used in the paraxial optics can be borrowed to study the time evolution of the pulse.In addition,physical explanations have been given to such concepts as time ray,time lens etc., introduced to aid the understanding of the temporal behavior of pulses.
