文学翻译中的语言文化差异处理策略

在跨语言、跨文化的翻译中常常会碰到源语和译入语之间的语言、文化等方面的差异。处理这些差异的策略:意译、直译、归化、异化。而策略的选取受到翻译的形式、目的和意图,文本的体裁等因素的制约和影响。文学翻译主要目的是引进差异、促进文化交流,因此宜采用直译、异化的策略,尽量保留原文中的语言文化、艺术风格等差异,充分体现原文的诗学价值。

Strategies for Dealing with the Linguistic and Cultural Differences in Literary Translation

There are the linguistic and cultural differences between the source language and the target lan- guage in cross-language and cross-culture translation.The strategies for dealing with these differences are lit- eral translation,free translation,domestication and foreignization.The selection of strategies usually de- pends on the translating form,purpose and intention,the genre of text to be translated,the relative position of cultures which the source language and the target language belong to,etc.The main purpose of literary translation is to introduce differences and to promote cultural communication,thus domestication is suggested for keeping the differences in language,culture,style of art,etc.,so as to give a full display of the poetic value of the source text.
