应用层组播技术及在视频会议系统中的应用

该文介绍了应用层组播技术的基本原理,分析比较了IP组播技术和应用层组播技术的优缺点。针对视频会议应用,提出了基于扩散平衡树的应用层组播模型。利用这一模型,设计了基于应用层组播技术的多人视频会议系统的解决方案。

Application Layer Multicast for the Video Conference System Application

This paper introduces the principle of Application Layer Multicast,analyses the advantage and disadvantage between IP Multicast and Application Layer Multicast.Diffusion balance tree based on Application Layer Multicast model is then proposed to enhance the video conference application.On the basis of the model,we provide an efficient scheme to implement the multipoint video conference system.
