| Abstract: | Honeycomb sandwich composite is a kind of light weight, high strength composite with remarkable properties, and is now used more widely in civil fields than before. In this paper, the material choice, structure and mechanical properties of honeycomb sandwich composite are introduced. Then from the weight aspect the conditions of maximum mechanical properties are analyzed. Finally, its development prospect is discussed. |
