Similarity Law of Rigid Bed Distorted Model for River Downstream of Hydroelectric Power Plant

When the flow geometry for the river downstream of a hydroelectric power plant varies with a sufficient intensity and/or frequency, the energy loss related to the unit length of the flow of the river downstream is mainly due to the local energy. Considering the local energy loss of the flow, author has obtained the similarity parameter of the model. it has been proved that the scale effect of the resu its of hydraulic model tests is quite small in different methods. The results of hydraulic model tests and prototype measurements have been compared and coincide with one another quite well.
