| Abstract: | In this paper, the principles and method for building a microimage computer aided retrieval system are discussed, and specially with the emphasis on the problems of system structure design, microform processing, formation of bibliographic database, system starting routine. As an exsmple, the design idea and the implementation of the on line microimage retrieval system of academic journals in Sichuan university are described in details. |
