“农民工”作为一个名词和群体成为中国改革开放问题研究的中心关键词，但这种关注和研究却是在一种城市背景下进行的，如农民工给城市带来的问题，他们在城市中的状况等等。农民工返乡研究略呈缺失状态，其中农民工的返乡创业因经济发展中心论的大背景而受到政府的全力支持与推崇。对农民工带来的乡村社会变化只是稍有提及，而对他们返乡后的适应性以及对乡村社会变迁的影响却未能列入研究日程。

The Overview of the Research on Rural Migrant Workers Who Return to Their Hometowns

As a name and a group, rural migrant workers become an important key word of the studies on China＇s reform and opening up. The research and attention on the rural migrant workers have been conducted under the background of cities, the problems brought about to the cities by rural migrant workers, their situation in cities, etc. There is the lack of research on rural migrant workers who have returning to their hometowns. The local governments support the migrant workers to start an business in their hometowns. The changes brought about by rural migrant workers to rural areas are mentioned a little. The adaptation of their returning and their impact on rural social changes have not yet probed into, thus leaving a research blank in this area.
