| 摘 要： | 提出了一种基于屋脊边缘检测的指纹图像预处理方法，利用屋脊边缘沿最大主曲率方向的最大主曲率局部极值直接得到指纹的骨架，用最小主曲率的方向得到指纹的方向流结构。实验证明，该方法对于不同质量的指纹图像都妈得了较理想的结果，而且可用于其他方波型屋脊边缘的检测。

| Abstract: | Extracting minutiae and identification fingerprints rely heavily on preprocessing of fingerprints image. A new method is proposed that is based on detection of roof edge. The skeleton of ridge is obtained using local extremum of maximum along the direction of maximum main curvature, while the orientation flow field along the direction of minimum main curvature is synchronized. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm were tested for different fingerprint images. |
