基于RB-IGBT的双级矩阵变换器整流级电路

摘    要:为了减少双级矩阵变换器使用器件的数目,降低系统功耗,采用RB-IGBT构成整流级电路的双向开关,该文提出了一种基于虚拟电压的整流级电路PWM调制算法;设计了一种新颖的RB-IGBT驱动保护电路,采用检测集-射极电压的方法,结合驱动集成芯片EXB841自身的短路保护功能,加快短路保护动作响应;研制了10kW基于RB-IGBT的双级矩阵变换器样机。驱动和硬开关故障保护实验验证了提出的驱动保护电路具有良好的驱动和保护性能。整流级电路实验结果表明,提出的PWM调制方法有效降低了双级矩阵变换器输入电流谐波含量,提高了波形质量。

Abstract:Bi-directional switches in rectifier were developed by using RB-IGBT to reduce the number of semiconductors in the two-stage matrix converter(TSMC) and to reduce the power loss.The rectifier is using a PWM algorithm based on virtual voltage.The scheme includes a new drive and protection circuit for the RB-IGBT with the collector-to-emitter voltage detected to protect the device.The short-circuit protection function of the drive chip EXB841 accelerates the protection response.The RB-IGBT switch is used in a 10-kW two-stage matrix converter prototype.Drive and hard switch fault protection experiments verify the circuit performance.Test results show that the total harmonics of the input currents are reduced and the current waveform quality is improved.
