| Abstract: | A visual knowledge model for products in an intelligent manufacturing environment is presented. Based on this model, the concept of application-oriented features is proposed. The constraint is used to realize the combination of declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge. By taking account of manufacturing orientation, the focus of attention is on the representation of a visual knowledge model of products. A prototype system under study is described and the modelling and representation of a simple mechanical part are given. |
