| Abstract: | By the application of 3D FEM, the accumulated stresses of a double curvature arch dam under the loads of gravity, of grouting and of hydrostatic water pressure have been calculated, according to the sequence of planned const- ruction, The characteristics of the accumulated gravity load stresses under different periods of construction and the improvement and utilization of the stresses in the engineering measures have been studied. |
